I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AMETEK (Wexford, PA) in Feb 2019
Interview
I was contacted via a recruiter and asked to have a chat about a manufacturing engineer position. I spoke with the recruiter twice and once with the hiring manager over the phone. The hiring manager asked me to come onsite for an interview which seemed to go well. My first impression was that the site was clean and the interview was fairly quick (1.5 hrs.) I was contacted again to come for another on-site interview and it was even faster than the first on-site (still had to take time off of work to do so) and then I got an email a week later saying I was not picked for the position. I asked for some feedback and was ghosted by the recruiter.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Have you ever been in a situation in which you experienced conflict with a coworker? How did you go about the situation.
The interview was fair and too the point. There were no typical interview questions to trip you up, all questions related to my experience and how it could be applied to them and the products.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at AMETEK (Irvine, CA) in June 2014
Interview
Interview process was not too difficult to the fact I was an employee referral but the 1:1 involved a series of general "interview questions" that asked about my experience in the aerospace industry and why I am a better candidate in comparison to the rest.
