I first had an interview with the head of the group (got it through a referral), then 2 interviews with 4 engineers in total. I had to also do an online assessment beforehand.
I had a good experience with the initial interview with the group leader. After that, it was less nice. I felt that the questions they asked could have been formulated a lot more clearly---especially since "crystal clear communication" seems to be a the job requirement for any ASML job.
I asked several interviewers about what they don't like about working at ASML. They said that everything at the company is done in rushed way.
Overall, I did not get a good impression of the company---seems like the jobs are overly demanding and there is an emphasis on quick results. The interview process didn't seem super fair; it felt like you either happen to think like them and have exactly the same background and then you can understand what they are asking, or you don't and they reject you. Last but not least, it's an extremely male-dominated company; all the 5 people who interviewed me were men, and they don't seem to put much effort into hiring anyone who isn't.
