I had an interview with A*Star several months ago. Generally the process is not that formal. You talk with PI about your previous experience . They will access how fit you can be with the position.

No technical codes needed. They will ask a lot of qns about what past project you have done and what are the outcomes of it. This happened for my department in I2R. Not sure of other departments and other bosses
