I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AbbVie (Houston, TX) in Jan 2021
Interview
The interview process was as we know completely virtual but a positive experience. It was exactly 3 weeks long with 2 rounds and then the decision week. The interviewers showed great energy and made it a great experience.
Long process, very organized and professional. 1st phone screen with recruiter. 2nd Video interview with hiring manager. 3rd interview with hiring manager and another dsm. 4th in person with the regional director and the hiring manager. fairly straight forward process. a lot of star questions. A lot of interviews to go through to not get hired. I don’t know why candidates do the interview with the regional unless they are getting hired.
More behavioural. Be yourself, don’t go off a script. Culture is very important at the company, so must be a team player and willing to help others. Authenticity and work ethics is huge.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AbbVie in Sept 2025
Interview
I spoke with the hiring manager, who recently transitioned into sales leadership after primarily building her career in marketing at AbbVie. While she brings strong company alignment and a positive outlook, she has almost no direct sales experience. Her coaching and management style will likely be closely aligned with corporate training and guidance. She came across as personable and professional. Overall, this role could be a strong fit for someone earlier in their career who would benefit from structured guidance and company-driven development.
