I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AbbVie in May 2014
Interview
The initial process was very quick. I was contacted for a phone interview swiftly and spoke with two of the hiring supervisors within two weeks of application. I was then selected for an in person interview and that process dragged on longer than expected. When I did finally meet with the hiring supervisor the interview went very well and I was highly impressed with the interview.

Question 1
There wasn't any question that was unexpected. It was more of a conversation.
HR reaches out to asking to schedule a interview. Unfortunately they do not do their homework and call to ask you some basic questions around sponsorship which you already answered in the application only to tell you that they do not provide that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AbbVie in Aug 2025
Interview
Conversation with Recruiter, followed by conversation with hiring manager to explain the role and talk about my background, followed by panel interview consisting of four, 30-minute conversations.
After completing panel interviews and following up with the recruiter two weeks later, I received no response. This lack of communication is both disappointing and unprofessional. Candidates should be aware that this may reflect how the organization treats its applicants.
I applied online. I interviewed at AbbVie (Chicago, IL)
Interview
The recruiter was friendly and wanted to know my desires in my next role and focused on my previous experience. She said she would get back to me in a few days on next steps and ghosted. Never heard from them again.
