I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Abbott (San Jose, CA) in June 2014
Interview
Pre-screen on phone and then onsite with a few peers. Phone screen was cookie cutter and was easy to fool the questioner. Onsite was with people who did not care and were too busy to get in depth or present the business and issues.

Question 1
Technical ability and ability to work independently.
It was 4 rounds of interviews including direct ,manager, H.R and the global presedent and an assesment that took 5 hours. Assesment involve role playing and scenerios in a pressure enviroment
Quite straightforward, with HR, hiring manager, DVP. Was F2F in SG office. Usually TA would reach out to schedule timings and check availability. Overall like to see candidate deal with complexity and uncertainty in a matrix organisation
Very good experience despite not being selected. Serious and professional HR contact, although there was no response to my last email asking for additional information for not being selected.
Second interview was a bit long, but I think they wanted to cover all aspects.
Would so it again

Question 1
Typical questions regarding skills and experience with HR and more in-depth during second interview. Nothing surprising
