I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Las Vegas, NV) in Mar 2011
Interview
Referred by a friend, when I went to apply I dressed casually. I briefly met and shook hands with the store manager before I was asked to fill out an application on a computer in the store. After I had applied I was called back the same night and scheduled the interview for next week. The interviewer was the same guy, very casual and asked questions mostly about myself and my people skills. I was nervous and personally didn't think I answered the questions very well, but I managed to get the job on the spot.
One on one individual interview that encourages you to dress the part for the image of Abercrombie. Group interviews allow you share your thoughts while bouncing off of each others’ input.

Interview
A manager sat a group of us down outside the store somewhere within the mall. They asked specific questions about the Abercrombie style and brand. They didn't ask much about the candidates individually. This was many years ago, so I'm sure it's different now.

Interview
Small group interview in the mall round table questions. Easy, don’t copy the other answers that’s it. Hear back pretty quick. Overall great vibe would highly recommend it to college students
