I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Corte Madera, CA) in July 2008
Interview
Came into the store about 10 minutes early to make a good impression, quickly greeted by one of the managers who quickly knew i was there for the interview. She told me to go take a seat at there lounge and wait for more applicants to arrive. When they all got there we exited the store, and all signed our names and numbers on a sheet of paper. Later the Hiring manager asked us basic questions consisting of: Why A&F, What does diversity mean to you?, Describe a situation where you where involved in a group and you didn't agree with one of the people, what did you do? simple questions like that.. should be really easy. Just dress "A&F" and they'll hire you.
One on one individual interview that encourages you to dress the part for the image of Abercrombie. Group interviews allow you share your thoughts while bouncing off of each others’ input.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Santa Barbara, CA)
Interview
A manager sat a group of us down outside the store somewhere within the mall. They asked specific questions about the Abercrombie style and brand. They didn't ask much about the candidates individually. This was many years ago, so I'm sure it's different now.
I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Philadelphia, PA)
Interview
Small group interview in the mall round table questions. Easy, don’t copy the other answers that’s it. Hear back pretty quick. Overall great vibe would highly recommend it to college students
