Abercrombie & Fitch’s interview process for a brand representative typically focuses on assessing candidates’ interpersonal skills, fashion awareness, and ability to represent the brand’s values. Here’s a general outline of what to expect:
1. Application and Initial Screening
• After applying online, you may receive an invitation for a phone or virtual interview with a recruiter. They’ll ask about your availability, interest in the position, and general work experience.
2. In-Person or Virtual Interview
• The main interview, usually with a store manager or assistant manager, focuses on behavioral questions and situational responses.
I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (London, England)
Interview
The interview took roughly around 30 minutes - It was completely online and was only a video interview. Didn't hear back after the interview via any form of communication channels which was disappointing.

Question 1
What piece of clothing from the new range do you like best and why?
I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Jacksonville, FL) in June 2026
Interview
The interview felt distant and impersonal because it was conducted online. It did not seem very hopeful and felt more like an automated process than a genuine opportunity to connect with employers.

Question 1
What trend do you like at the store and how you would sell it to a customer?
Super simple and casual interview. Not too complex and very normal conversation. Heard back within a day and got hired, filled out tax papers and everything, and never got another call about orientation. It's been 6 months.
