      Associate Manager Interview

      9 Sept 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Acceleration Partners in Aug 2016

      Interview

The process went very quickly. I spoke with Hr, then a manager and then the reporting director and finally a homework assignment. The process was easy and the people were awesome. I found it very easy to speak with them and I found their questions to be very straight forward. I felt we had really good conversations back and forth. I asked a few questions from each and got great answers that were explained well. The people I spoke with solidified my desire to work there. I thought the homework was a breeze and was told it was perfect. To my surprise I was not offered a position. It came down to location, which makes me upset as they knew my location from the first day. I'm guessing there is more to it, and maybe I wasn't a good fit, but that went against everything I was told from each person. They all told me they really enjoyed speaking with me and they all acted like I was moving on to the next level. Maybe that is how it is for everyone. Either way it was a great experience Acceleration Partners seems like a very very great place to work and it seems like it's full of fantastic people. If you're lucky enough to be in one of their 'hub' locations you should apply, I think anyone would very happy and very lucky to work there. I did briefly think about moving, it's just not in the cards for my life at the moment.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I am sorry we did not have this squared away when we started the process as we made some policy changes right at the same time. This is something we hope to improve on going forward.
