personal profile testing was required in order for them to get an idea for the aptitude and skills of which covered quite a few topics and skillsets and attitude and personality style
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accessory Power (Westlake, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview process was pretty standard. Email correspondence and a few phone calls for behavioral questions and background... Until the final interview...
When I applied for the job, the salary range was stated at $70,000-90,000 a year for a junior level position, which is fair and when I expect... When they finally asked me about my salary expectations, I told them a valid number within the range of 70,000-90,000. I was then informed that the position is not in fact a Junior level position but an "internship" in which the pay is $18/hr or just above minimum wage in southern California.
I hung up on the interviewer because it was a total bait and switch, and even so, the average pay rate for a Computer Science internship is between $25-30/hr or even more if it's in the bay area.

Interview
Straight-forward: an email, followed by a phone call, and then an in-person interview....which included a 20-minute aptitude test. Offices are located in a nice part of Westlake Village, in a business park. Not a bad drive from West Los Angeles.
And yes, I can confirm that there are video monitors spread throughout the office.
