I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AcuityCFO in May 2018
Interview
I applied for the position online via a website that catered to tech start-ups. I was contacted by the office manager wanting to conduct a brief phone interview with me. She asked me to explain my experience and go into some detail about my resume. Following this, she explained the position, the compensation, and more about the company. She got in touch with me a few days later to schedule an in-person interview with me and my potential supervisor. The in-person interview went fairly well; there weren’t any questions that stumped me and felt like more of conversation than a serious interview. Before I left, they emailed me some email prompts to reply to see where my writing skills were and to see how I would correspond with clients. A week and half later, I was notified that they went with another candidate.

Interview
Applied online. It was a 20 minute phone interview with the head of sales. Very generic questions about experience and how to overcome issues that may be faced. I felt that the interviewer was abrasive about my past experiences in other industries and asked if this job would be glamorous enough for me. Left with a very bad taste in my mouth about the company and ultimately decided to end my interview process there.
