I was requested to complete 3 tests, Numerical, Verbal Reasoning, and Behavioural assessment and provide examples of my Project Management experience and Governance.
I arrived at the advised interview location (Southall) as instructed and made myself known to the receptionist. After 5 minutes the receptionist advised me that there was a communication error on their part and the interview would be taking place at another location (Stockley Park) which was a 20 minutes’ drive away.
I arrived at Stockley Park, the interviewer gave a brief explanation about the project that I would be working on, apparently, HR should have done this on our preliminary call, but did not.
I was asked competency-based questions and spent a great deal of time asking questions relating to a Project Manager role rather than the functions of the PMO or PMO Analyst role.
After the interview, I asked questions how many stages the interview process would be and was advised by the interviewer that a further stage would be required, which I found strange as HR had advised that it would be one stage (Final) interview.
To summarise, when managing projects one of the key fundamentals is to ensure that you clearly define your goals and objectives, the job was advertised as PMO Analyst role and has been missed advertised, but Adelie is clearly looking for a Project Manager to fulfill the role.
Overall my experience with Adelie I would say was very poor and shambolic, I did read other negative comments on Glassdoor prior to the interview, but thought that I would make my own assessment, sadly I have to agree with them and suggest you think carefully before applying
