I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Administrate (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Apr 2019
Interview
Process followed three steps:
- Applied through online portal.
- Got coding exercise w/ one week deadline - had to design an REST app
- Was invited for an in-person interview
Some takeaways:
- Coding exercise & email correspondence was very professional & positive, I had constant feedback throughout with real people as to the status of my application.
- During the interview, all questions were very well prepared, delivered, and friendly. At no point did I feel rushed, but I think they did a good job of keeping the interview progressing smoothly.
- Questions were well structured but still dynamic enough to be well tailored to my candidacy specifically.
- Even split of technical & non-technical questions, with a few curveballs / questions you will likely not get elsewhere.
Overall, a very good interview experience.
