I noticed a lack of communication within the team during the interview process. The interviewer was 10 minutes late in the first interview, and I had to wait on mute without explanation, making the start a bit clumsy. Additionally, I felt the interviewer was rushed and ended the call abruptly. After a few days and several issues regarding updates for the second interview, I was informed that a recruiter was involved in the process. The first call with the recruiter was awkward and rude. Furthermore, the essential information needed for the skills assessments in the third interview stage was not provided or mentioned during a previous phone call with the recruiter, making it difficult to fully prepare with only 10 minutes to read the brief and give my best.

Overall experience talking to the recruiter and the interviewers was fine but if a candidate has spent 4 hours talking to the interviewers and hours preparing for the interviews, least Adyen should have done is to provide personalised feedback for the rejection. Received an automated email that Adyen have rejected my application,. I approached the recruiter and one of the hiring manager personally to ask for feedback but they just ghosted me. Hiring managers should value candidates time.
