First interview, as they said, should have been about motivations, soft skills, past experience and get to know the company. Superficial questions which were not aimed to assess and/or address any of these aspects except very superficially on experience. I asked quite a few questions which the interviewer labeled as too technical. At the third question with no answer I stopped as I understood the interviewer wouldn't know the answer. I wouldn't be able to write a positive review even if wanted to. Unfortunately it seems an amateurish process mainly carried out to keep the recruitment department busy somehow and waste people's time like many companies do unfortunately nowadays where jobs are posted with no intention to hire. I also don't understand how companies like Adyen would be able to look for skilled people for doing a job when no single technical question is posed whatsoever. No values check, no skills checks, no deep dive into experience done. If you are rejected after such an interview you would just need to be glad as this means that superficiality is the key component in a company and if you are hired you wouldn't expect more than that.
