Very straight forward process. They want to know where you have worked previous (if any), what skills you may already have, what programs you are familiar working with (such as Solidworks, Catia, Matlab, etc). They hire just students from just about all levels of education, from freshmen to senior, so do not be afraid to apply if you are only just starting your schooling. They will train and assist you with whatever you need to know. The interview process does not get very technical. They want to know that you can work with others, and are willing to learn.
