Affirm Design Director interview questions

A friend referred me and I think I first spoke with the recruiter, who was one of the most informed recruiters I've met with. So rare they can answer so many questions in depth. Then I had a conversation with the hiring manager on the phone. I was impressed with how sharp she was and clear about what they were looking for. Next step was a portfolio review with the bigger team and an "app teardown" conversation with 2 of their design leader. Then 1:1s with product and engineering peers. Great conversations. Really thoughtful and kind people.
