I applied through university. I interviewed at Aflac (Chicago, IL) in July 2018
Interview
It was so rude. They have everyone show up for a "first interview" but the recruiter does not talk to you. She tells you it is a sales job in disguise and then you and the other 20 people in the room leave. She would rather waste your time by having you all travel there so she doesn't have to make 20 calls to explain this is a scam.
Initial "interview" was just a group info session with over 20 people. Essentially its door to door sales. Have to take a test to be able to sell insurance in the state.

I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aflac (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2015
Interview
The first interview is very general, and purely informational. Business strategy and products are covered extensively. During the first interview be prepared to ask questions to be appear involved, but it does not hurt to ask basic questions. Culture within the interview will be covered to make the interview feel like a general conversation.
