The posted job was benefits coordinator. After reading reviews here I asked if it was a purely commission based sales job. Yep. When I told them I was not interested because it's 100% commission I got a response like "I'm shocked with your background that you'd pass up something like this". Like their job is so great. That reaction alone made me glad I didn't meet with them. Also the email interview confirmation said that they appreciate promptness please don't arrive any earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start time. Implies that they're shuffling a lot of people in and out. Shady.
The interview process began with a group interview, where the team first presented an overview of Aflac through a PowerPoint presentation. After that, I was invited to move forward to the first-round interview. Overall, the atmosphere felt very relaxed, welcoming, and enjoyable, which made the experience much more comfortable and left me with a positive impression of the company.
The first round of the interview process was to confirm whether we were interested in the position. The hiring manager called 4 people into a zoom call to tell us about the job and did not take any questions. The next round is an individual one-on-one interview about my background.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Aflac (Jacksonville, FL) in July 2023
Interview
Lied about the job and was dishonest Late to meeting,Unorganized and had many people just waiting for a moderator to come and speak to everyone that had already been waiting for over 30 minutes. Was not a good experience nor did it leave a good impression at all as an employee or if I was a potential customer.
