The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Aflac in July 2010
Interview
I sent my resume in on Friday and received a call Monday for an interview on Tuesday. I was advised that I did not need to bring anything to the interview. The interview took a little over and hour and was pretty informal. The first half of the interview consisted of general interview questions and the second half was more of an informational session about the products and sales process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you handle rejection? Specifically what actions do you take when you encounter rejection?
It was a very odd process. They conduct their interviews in groups which I’ve never seen before. Honestly they seem desperate to me which I did not like. It is also all commissioned based with no salary. Very awkward to ask questions since it’s done in a group.
Met with district regional manager, in person interview, business professional attire. typical interview questions (i.e. strengths, weaknesses, how do you communicate with people, etc). Overall, not difficult and this was for an internship.
sat with multiple people going through the process. It was just the info session, but it was informative. invited to go through another round of interviews, but did not proceed.
