I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Agencyport
Interview
I was interviewing with a lot of companies and Agencyport stood out as most attentive and transparent throughout the process. I spoke at first with the HR person who did an initial screening, and this was followed by an on-site interview with several people in the Boston office over a few hours. The last step was a remote interview with a practice Director in another office.
The focus, once they identified that I clearly had the skills and experience to perform the role responsibilities, was on culture fit and collaboration/process.
Everyone I spoke to seemed genuine and talented. The salary offer was fair and competitive. Although there is currently no bonus incentive except for certain employee roles, I was told this would be changing companywide with the acquisition soon. The benefits are comparable if not better than other places I've worked, and indication was given here as well that many of the bennies will likely improve as well once the transition to Duck Creek is complete. The HR person also did the best she could to accommodate some other requests I had.
Overall a very positive experience and I'm excited about this opportunity.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why are you interested in working for Agencyport. As far as I am concerned, wherever you interview you should at very least be able to provide a clear, thoughtful answer to this question-- otherwise you're just a person looking for a paycheck and not putting much thought into your career.
