The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Air Canada (Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC)
Interview
Applied on a Wednesday at 3 p.m. Got an email at 3:01 p.m with a link for a video interview. I thought it was a scam...so didn’t paid more attention to it.
2 days later, Friday 9a.m, got a call from Talent ac. We booked for a phone interview the next day.
After that phone interview, got booked for my language interview.
1 week later, got an email from AC inviting me to book the F2F interview on a link through availabilities.
Went to the Headquarter of AC in MTL, they call you by group. First off, they check all the document required. Second, they call you one by one for the F2F interview.
Though I would get an group interview and medical exam as off all the Glassdoor experiences... so I asked politely what would be the next steps? the interviewer told me they are hiring all across Canada from BC to Scarborough so, since they are in a big hiring process, I’ll have to wait and get some news by phone or email for the next steps.
Hope it’ll help someone, good luck all
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Same questions as written in all the Glassdoor reviews. Prepare an answer for each so there will be no surprise. The interviewers are friendly and sweet. Just be natural
Fair but alot of questions. Be prepared with many scenarios that demonstrates customer service and your ability to react to emergencies. Being friendly and dress appropriately is also very important
The interview process comprises an initial group meeting with all applicants, followed by a concise overview of Air Canada. Subsequently, the larger group will be segmented into two or three smaller units for individual interviews. These interviews are designed to assess your interpersonal skills, cognitive processes, and professional bearing. You will be presented with a scenario for discussion, followed by a video analysis focusing on a flight attendant's actions, requiring you to evaluate their appropriateness.
It was a great experince doing an interview, even though I didn’t make the cut during the last interview for Air Canada. Overall it was a great journey. It does bring my hopes up because I lasted till the finals.
