      Relocation Specialist Interview

      25 Jan 2012
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Pittsburgh, PA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aires (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jan 2012

      Interview

After applying online by emailed resume and cover letter for the Relocation Specialist, I was instructed to call the recruiter for a phone interview. The recruiter was very pleasant, and the questions were the basic: How did you find out about the company? Why are you interested in working for AIRes (pronounced Airz)? Why do you believe you are a good candidate for this position? Which of your past jobs was your favorite? and why? What kind of compensation do you expect? That part of the interview was very easy, and it went well enough so that the recruiter scheduled a visit for the following week. I was instructed to fill out the application that was emailed to me before the meeting, and that during the scheduled meeting I would complete an IQ test, "DISC" personality/behavioral test, and would (hopefully) meet with a few members of the team. Also, a background test would be done just to clear me. The IQ test was a SAT-like logic, word association, and simple math test -- which was the hardest part of the whole interview. The DISC test is just a simple thing that helps to determine your tendencies . There was a one-on-one with the recruiter again which was the exact same as the phone interview, and after that concluded, and I was informed that there was no immediate openings, and that I would be contacted as soon as one appeared but that I would still get to talk with a team lead and program manager. Everyone I met was very, very nice -- even if it was really odd to interview for a position that wasn't open.

      Relocation Specialist Interview

      4 Mar 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dallas, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Aires (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2019

      Interview

Although most of the people that I interacted with were friendly, the interview process took over 5 weeks and I was informed that they still had not made a decision. My initial interview was a phone screening with a recruiter based out of the Pittsburgh office. A week later I had a f2f interview with the supervisor and the head of the Dallas office. It was a fairly standard interview. I was then scheduled for a 3rd interview with the regional director based out of the Houston office. She is apparently over the Southern and Gulf Coast region. It was much of the same information in addition to some more behavioral questions. I was then contacted again by the recruiter and told that they would like to have a desk-side meeting so that I could have a run-through of the "system" and how it operates, as well as an opportunity to learn what the day-to-day work would entail. At this point, I was made aware that the job itself is mundane desk-work, answering emails, making sure to record every interaction with customers, and forwarding information to others. There is a "to-do" list that the system creates for each day, which could include over 100 tasks, mostly emails, responding to inquiries, etc. The office atmosphere was drab, small cubicles, little natural light. The average age of the office seemed to be around 50, and I did not see one "younger" employee. This was a big red flag for me, as I feel an office environment should include both younger and older employees. I was informed a week after the desk-side meeting that the management "was not ready to proceed with any offers and are going to continue interviewing candidates."

      Relocation Specialist Interview

      28 June 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Pittsburgh, PA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aires (Pittsburgh, PA)

      Interview

Phone interview with recruiter+ 2 on-site interviews, one with HR and multiple team members and 2nd with senior managers. Recruiter was rude, entitled, and in love with power. Liked the team members and explanation of work environment but recruiter destroyed the experience and my impression of the company. Became very irritated when I asked questions at time of verbal offer regarding company, benefits, etc to get a better idea of opportunity.

      Application

      Interview

The talent acquisition specialist, my first contact, was superb! She made this process personable, respectful and never thought that she was doing me a favor (like the many others I encountered in other companies). She was a partner and had GREAT interpersonal skills. She always availed herself to guide me and kept me informed with the developments.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They truly have the customer's best interest at heart and were very in-depth about the behavioral and scenario questions, so they could make sure the right match was joining this great company.
