The recruiter sent me a very positive email about my qualifications. I noticed that someone from her organization that I never met looked up my profile on LinkedIn. By the way I am a Latino. The next day they cancelled the interview and wanted to reschedule. I was okay with it and the interview went well. I had all the qualifications and then next day sent me a message that they would no move forward. Bottom line they don't hire minorities in these startups. If you look at all their employees mostly white. Its the Tech world in 2020. I am lucky I work for one of the best software companies that have a diversity program, startups need to step up. People need to start looking at why they don't even give minorities a chance, but I wouldn't wast my time here.
