I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Akinon (Istanbul) in Feb 2024
Interview
The interview was average overall. The interviewer was polite, but questions were not deeply explored, which limited discussion. Still, the process was clear and professional and generally felt neither negative.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is Django ORM and why is it used?
What are the differences between class-based views and function-based views in Django?
What is middleware in Django and can you give an example?
What is a serializer in Django REST Framework and why is it important?
They contacted me on LinkedIn three separate times, and each time we had a technical interview. The questions were fairly standard, but they never followed up with any feedback or decision regarding my application. I even sent a follow-up email and messaged them on LinkedIn, but received no response at all. It was honestly one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had. They seem to reach out to every developer they can find and set up interviews with so many people that they don't even remember speaking with you a few months earlier. It feels like they're just mass-interviewing without any real consideration.

Interview
Leads were mainly friendly but the HR processes were a bit messy. Didn't provide necessary information. Changed the title before letting me know and at the 3rd round the manager haven't been informed about me properly
