Alberta Securities Commission interview questions

The interview was a Behavioural style with the communications VP and a human resources rep, who both asked questions. The interview was conducted online and lasted about an hour or so.

Two rounds of interview, first with hiring manager and second meet the team. Did an assignment after the first interview which took quite some time—suspected free labour for the company. In the end received oral offer and background check stage revealed absolutely ridiculous hiring practise— what kind of company demands a performance review/management reference from the successful candidate’s current employer??? Refused to give and offer rescinded the next day. Dodged a bullet!
