I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Alcoa
Interview
It was great overall. I received an email from a recruiter about setting up an over-the-phone discussion(just about my resume), then I had an interview during a convention (NSBE) with the technical manager of the plant(more of "tell me a time when..," type questions), then had a phone interview with the Electrical Reliability Manager a week later(In depth questions of projects on my resume and experiences). Overall it went well.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Alcoa
Interview
I saw them at my school career fair and submitted my resume to them. Later, I received a call from a Engineering Manager for a phone interview. Interview was all behavioral, straight forward, so always prepare answers and questions for them as well as know about the company and location you are interviewing for.
