The interview process began with a recruiter reaching out via email to schedule a first call. Basic information was exchanged and then I was sent an email to schedule another meeting with the team's manager. The interview went very well and I even thought I had excellent rapport with the manager after he let me know that I seem like a good fit for the role and the type of employee that they were looking for. I was asked about my background and the questions mostly focused on things I had mentioned in my resume, so nothing came to me as a surprise and the questions were easy to answer. Ultimately, I didn't land the job but have no hard feelings as I am looking to break into the industry, and I'm sure there must have been a more qualified applicant in this case for a job that required a bit more experience than I had under my belt.
