I applied online. I interviewed at Aledade in May 2025
Interview
The whole process took about 3 weeks. I interviewed for a backend position, so there were no frontend questions or challenges.
1. Phone screen with recruiter [15 mins]
2. Interview with hiring manager [45 mins]
3. Take-home assessment [72 hours to complete 2 tasks that took about 3-4 hours total]
4. Assessment review [60 mins]
5. Past project review [60 mins]
Everyone I spoke to was really nice and professional. I really thought I was doing well, so I was a bit shocked to receive a rejection after the final rounds. The final past project review interview was also a lot more behavioral and less technical than I had expected, so I was a little unprepared for it.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Aledade in Jan 2024
Interview
I applied online. It took about a week before I was contacted after applying. The process took about 5 weeks after the initial contact with the recruiter. I interviewed with them in January and February 2024. The process involved a recruiter screening, tech screen, take home coding assignment, and additional tech screen with a panel of 3 people.

Question 1
As others suggested, the initial tech screen was about my experience, current job, and then how I'd design an elevator system from a software perspective. Second tech screen was to go over my code from the "take home" technical assignment that involved a python, postgres, and Vue.js section. Plenty of time was given for the take home assignment and it was very straightforward. The second interview asked about potential refactoring of my solutions, runtime and space complexity, and thought process.
