Reffered through employee and got the invation for phone interview. Mostly general questions about data structure and algorithms, database transactions. For coding questions, only talking and describing the solution without real coding.

Asked about detailed technical knowledge like JVM and understading of the role with an emphasize on application of these knowledge e.g. tell me when to use linked list in actual production.

The interviewer was nice and friendly, giving reasonable amount of hints when I asked. Even though I did not make it to the next round because I was not well prepared, the interviewer still gave suggestions for around 15 minutes.
