The initial interview was more formal and intense than expected. I had been told there would be two interviewers, but there were three present on the call, along with interview recording/transcription software which had not been mentioned beforehand. That made the atmosphere feel quite impersonal from the outset.
The interview itself focused heavily on consultancy-style questioning around stakeholder management, project delivery, requirements gathering, and Salesforce solution design. It was less of a conversational discussion and more of a structured technical/client-facing assessment.
The company clearly works on some interesting projects and the team were professional throughout, but personally I didn’t feel the interview environment or overall team dynamic was the right fit for me.
