I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AlixPartners in Apr 2025
Interview
I started the recruitment process in early April 2025 with an on-site interview that went very well. I was promptly invited to proceed with the next steps: logical and aptitude tests (which were quite challenging, although they provided helpful practice materials), followed by a behavioral interview with an American psychologist from their U.S. office. The psychologist interview was scheduled about two weeks after the initial meeting due to scheduling constraints. I found this interview somewhat stressful, and it was not entirely clear how the information I shared would be used. I also requested specific feedback on this stage but unfortunately did not receive a response.
As of today, about a month and a half since that last step, I have yet to receive official feedback. I reached out to HR, who replied that a decision would be made shortly. Two weeks later, I followed up again and was informed that the process was taking longer than usual and that I should remain patient, with a promise of updates soon. That last communication was over two weeks ago, and since then I have not heard anything further — not even a general update, which at this point would be appreciated.
Throughout the process, the company emphasized their pride in having a thorough and candidate-focused recruitment approach, assuring that candidates are regularly kept informed. Unfortunately, my personal experience did not fully align with this message. I believe there is room for improvement in terms of communication and providing timely closure, especially given the enthusiasm I had at the start and the potential I saw in the opportunity.
I would encourage the company to review their recruitment process, particularly with regard to keeping candidates better informed and respecting their time.
Update: Two weeks after my last follow-up, I was finally contacted to proceed with two additional interviews. I responded that I was no longer available as I had accepted another offer. They asked me to call to “discuss further,” but I do not believe there is anything left to discuss at this point given the prolonged timeline.
