I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Allied Universal (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied for work with Allied Universal. Upon completion of my application, I got an email asking me to do an online video interview. The next morning as I was getting ready to complete the interview, I received a text message from the office asking me to instead come in for an in-person interview. Needless to say, I got the postition amd accepted the offer and pay. I was practically hired on the spot. Next day did orientation/paperwork as well as a final exam and passed with flying colors. After that, they took my sizing for my uniform which I'm scheduled to pick up this Monday as well as start my new position Monday.
The process isn't always this wuick for everyone, but if they have posts available, put your best foot forward and sell yourself at that interview. That's what I did. This is a good company with good benefits and good posts. The starting pay is decent. Only other company that pays just as well is Andrews International. Problem is they're not as organized as Allied.
Also, if you don't already have your guard card (I already have mine and have for the last 10yrs) they offer guard card training. You still have to pay the Live Scan fees but they cover the guard card training and deduct it from your first check.
