I applied online. I interviewed at Ally Financial (Itasca, IL) in Sept 2010
Interview
Phone interview was good except for the lies. In person interview was ridiculous. Didn't care much about experience or what you know, all they did was ask scenario questions, "what did or would you do" type questions. Same type of interview for promotions, again no care about experience or how good your current performance is. The promotion interviews are fake, they already have their candidate picked. WASTE OF TIME.

Super easy, and convenient. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and caring. Megan, the HR rep was great and kept me informed throughout the whole process and made it super easy
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ally Financial (Itasca, IL) in July 2011
Interview
I was contacted for a phone interview and once that was done I flew in for an in-person interview which began with the HR Manager, then one of the Operations Managers, and finally one of Team Leaders. I was given a skills/knowledge test. Afterwards, I got a chance to shadow two representatives from two side of claims while management discussed my interview. Once they made a decision, the Ops Manager brought me into her office for a discussion about the job offer, salary and benefits. The behavioral STAR interview method was used and is still currently being used to date.
