The interview consisted of a 30 minute conversation with the acting Branch Manager of the Cluj-Napoca main branch. The general manner in which the unit runs operations was presented to me, with little emphasis on organization culture or people, while the obvious need presented was for a salesperson - more for a Relationship Manager than a Deputy Manager, whose exact role, given the title, was not clear to me. The overall atmosphere seemed a bit gloomy, with talk around changes to come and positions becoming redundant in the near future. I got to describe my current role and responsibilities and got few questions back as to my actual skills and vision for the role.
A few days after the interview I got an email back stating I had not been chosen for the part but thanking me for my participating in the process.
