While the Recruiter was professional and attentive throughout the process, the In-person interview left much to be desired. My initial in-person interview was rescheduled less than 3 hours before it was scheduled to happen, and when I inquired as to the reasoning I was told there were staffing issues that day. While I did take it in stride and rescheduled for the following week, this sent a clear negative message that the hiring manager could not keep a 1 hour appointment. The interview itself consisted of being asked outdated questions from a pre-purchased interview guide with the recruiter on speaker phone taking notes. I was not given a tour of the facility so this type of interview could have been conducted over a Video Call. There was also a Bait and Switch on the compensation plan, the job description stated 60K guaranteed but it was presented as a $1000/week (52K/year) draw against commission with 60K if hitting minimum quota. I'm also not really sure why I was interviewed in the 1st place, as the interviewer stated that they were really looking for someone with prior automotive or RV experience, even though the job posting actually stated "Prior sales experience helpful but not a must. " - Would not recommend Alpin Haus as a prospective employer.
