A recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn with a job opportunity. I filled out the vacancy form and we agreed on a first interview via Zoom. No one joined the zoom conference at the appointed time. I immediately sent an email about it, and just in case I waited half an hour. After this, any contact with me was stopped.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Altium Limited (Cambridge, England) in Mar 2025

Initial screening call with in house recruiter, longer discussion with manager, technical test, culture interview.
For a company that has won awards for supporting diversity and makes a virtue of this on the website, I expected a request for flexible working to be likely to succeed. I was surprised by an inflexible response of 100% hours or nothing. This attitude rules out applicants who have caring or other responsibilities, or simply a different lifestyle.

I was asked to make a program solving particular task with limits on memory and time consumption. Then I answered a set of question concerning the program implementation, its pros and cons, etc.
