Things seemed to be going ok until the power died on my laptop due to an IOT configuration error in my home. I did my best to get back into the meeting and after a few minutes was able to re-join. The interviewer then found themselves "too busy" to pick up where we left off. The interviewer then stated that they would be rescheduling the interview. I gave the interviewer time to do so and then politely reminded them. They completely ghosted me. I cannot recommend working for a company that has zero fault tolerance for senior candidates like myself. The interviewer should expect for things to go wrong and if they do go wrong the interviewer should be candid as far as their perspective towards said happenings and not lead candidates on as to imply that there will be a future interview.
