They use a 3rd party recruiter, who reached out to me initially, as I was not actively looking. This recruiter's name was Louise. After going through 6 interviews in a short 6-7 week period, these included a screening call, meeting the Head of Talent, the Sr. HR BP UK twice, once online and once in the Dublin office, the Global HR Director and the Head of Operations, I was told I was successful in all of those and was being progressed to the next round each time. After the final meeting, Louise again told me I was successful and the final stage was to meet with the CEO but to expect a slight delay in that meeting as there tended to be scheduling issues with the CEO. So after 2 weeks had passed I followed up just to say there were two dates upcoming where I would be travelling. I heard nothing back which I thought odd. After another 2 weeks, I followed up again...nothing. I followed up one more time with Louise, still nothing. I then followed up with the Sr. HRBP from the London office, that I had met twice with and would be reporting to, possibly 6 weeks later to inform her, and heard nothing back. So finally, after no word back from anyone in about 10 weeks I contacted the Global Head of HR and relayed my experience and some comments that had been told to me during the process around issues they were having, including around recruitment. I wonder why? Unsurprisingly but shockingly I received no reply back. I was ghosted as part of an interview process for a senior HR role. That is bad! Either the hand doesn't know what the arm is doing or it is a completely disrespectful and toxic culture. The optimist in me hopes its the former and simply poor planning and organisation. I was extremely disappointed as the role sounded exciting and individually everyone I met was lovely.
