I was called about a week after I applied. Few basic questions and then was scheduled to interview at their headquarters in Manhattan on a Saturday afternoon. I was then interviewed by two people. The first was a lady who was kind of rude, but I shrugged it off and remained optimistic. When she asked me for my desired pay, I told her a number that is competitive with major banks in the city to which she seemed shocked that I would ask for so much. After the first interview, I was given a timed test (which is very easy) which I finished well ahead of schedule. I decided to not wait for the time to run out, so I went to hand in the test to which she seemed surprised I finished so quickly. I was then interviewed by a very pleasant and welcoming gentleman who I had a nice conversation with. He told me that I will be notified whether I received the position or not, but not to worry as they will let me know. I never received any word from them, so I figure I did not get the position for some reason although my schedule was open and my salary requirements is competitive with other banks like what Chase and Citi Bank are paying for someone in a supervisory teller position.
