Praised me for having a broad skillset, said they want more generalists and they have a lot of problems with hyper-specialists not knowing how to connect the pieces of a project together, then told me I wasn't a good fit for their team because they needed focused subject matter experts.

Smooth and very easy process, Initially it started with a intro for 2 mins then immediately moved to couple of behavioral questions after that the interview ended up with a coding question which is easy DSA.

I was given the problem statement to assess the moves made on tic tac toe for nxn game board with p players and return corresponding output after each move(win, draw, game continues or invalid move). During the interview was asked to add the feature of suggesting the next move for a given player.
