I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at AmeriHealth Caritas
Interview
Steer clear from this company. Several red flavs. Contact was completely through a third party recruiting agency. I never experienced that before but figured it was normal for a large company. There was 1 qualifications call and then an interview with a contact within the company. Interview was standard. Red flags were that the caseload size, hours, and drive times were all inflated from what the recruiter initially advertised. The salary was good but they did report within the onterview there were issues with turnover and yet they were expanding which isn't abnormal for this kind of work. After the offer was accepted, it was concerning that all contact was still through the recruitment agency and when attempted contact was made with the one individual in the company which was provided there was 0 response. Leaving me to wait to provide proper notice since they stated notice shouldn't be given until a welcome email is sent from within the company. When a phone follow-up was attempted I was told that the lack of contact was a normal complaint and to send another email. This person "works from home and doesn't answer their phone". I work from home as well and considering company phones and laptops are given this shouldn't be an issue since I and the recruitment agency were attempting contact for over a week. This company will not work with you to ensure good communication and an easy transfer from one job to another. After not hearing back within the 3 weeks notice I requested from the start date I removed myself from being considered for the position. This company has shown they don't care about their employees. Just filling positions they won't be able to keep.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Are you good at time management and meeting deadlines? They highlighted communication regarding deadlines but this was laughable due to their internal communication bring so bad.
