Interview
Coordinator for interviews was very responsive. Second interview consisted of the coordinator as well as three other people (two being engineers). They offered me a VERY LOW pay; almost insulting. This company expects ten times more work than what they are willing to pay you to do.

Question 1
They had me watch a video of an employee describing what it is like to work under Steve Jobs. In short, she said "He fired me over 30 times, Steve jobs was the type of person to throw things at you (like a stapler) and he would either break you or make you strong". This culture is not complete wrong however it is a different type of barbaric behavior I wanted no part in.

Interview
Went in for an interview as an entry-level Graphic Designer. I was told that that they were trying to build a design department (they had no in-house designers, only contractors or IT people working on the website) at that specific branch, but did not offer any resources such as essential Adobe Creative Suite subscriptions, personal computer or dedicated workspace, professional organization memberships, or professional development opportunities for designers yet. They essentially wanted someone that could be their Brand Designer, Web Designer, Social Media Specialist, and Graphic Designer in one job role to build everything from the ground up and report directly to the CEO of the entire company. At the end of the interview I was asked if I was okay with a "trial period" of three months, at the ridiculously non-competitive pay rate of $10 an hr despite being a full-time employee, before being able to discuss a "salary package" that was vaguely referred to and normalized because "all employees go through this process." The interview process ended with them telling me that they liked me, would be in touch the next week, then ghost me without ever replying.

All employees undergo a "trial period" for 3 months, we will pay you $10 an hour but you will work full-time as an at-will employee before being offered a salary, are you okay with this?
How fluent are you in Chinese? (This was because the Graphic Designer role would directly report to the CEO in Mainland China, which was not stated in the job post)

Interview
After emails, completing the application online and the document application sent to me, I wasn't offered an interview because I refused to provide a picture with my application. After explaining my privacy and EEOC concerns, I was told the interview would not be scheduled without the picture because my file would not be complete.
I saved all communications and have filed an EEOC charge.
