This interview process was intense! Panel style interview with about 5 people. Everyone asked at least 2 questions but they made me comfortable. I was later called to accept the internship position about 2 weeks after interviewing.
I interviewed at American Cancer Society (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2018
Interview
I had a recruiter contact me via LinkedIn promoting a position for a Patient Navigator. We had a very good screening interview after which I asked what the next steps would be. She sent an email with time slots to sign up for a phone interview, I responded with my desired time but she never replied; so unprofessional and very sad! I called her just to check in, left a voice message.. stil nothing.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at American Cancer Society (Skokie, IL) in Aug 2018
Interview
Fill out an online application for the position. Was contacted by an HR rep via email. And select day and time for a phone screen. I responded to the representative’s email with a day and time from the options she presented for
me to select from for the phone screen. I gave the person the best contact number for me to be contacted. On the day of the phone screen no one called
me. I reached back out to
this Representative asking what happened and she did not apologize or offer an explanation as to why I set aside time for the interview and no one interviewed
me. She just sent me another email with more dates and times. I decided that if the company and
it’s Representatives are this unprofessional and unreliable I don’t want to work with them. Plus the original email was written in such a way that they didn’t think I was interested in the position anyway. They get a thumbs down.
