This was one of the more strange interviews I've ever had for a design job- there was two preliminary interviews with an HR person including two separate tests and then a series of interviews with the actual design team. The personality test was bizarre - very clearly about liability, lots of questions regarding whether or not you were a vengeful person or whether you used your work computer for unappropriate things (of course not?), including a rapid fire timed portion of math & vocabulary. After that there were additional short-answer questions that were more standard. I was informed that there would be drug testing and that I shouldn't have any visible tattoos or piercings - not a problem for me, but a somewhat odd expectation in a design job. Lots of specific questions before you ever meet the design team. They also are fully in-office and start work at 7am, so I get the impression they are very corporate and old-fashioned. Since I only had a few preliminary interviews over phone, I don't have a full view of the firm, but that was my impression. After a lot of conversations with the HR person, I received an automated no-reply email telling me they weren't moving forward; when I reached out the same HR person asking if they had suggestions for me or why I was rejected so that I might improve my resume, I heard no response.
