I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters in Sept 2015
Interview
Applied online. Was called in for an interview a week later. When arrived to the interview they had me fill out a written application to have on file. The interview happened in the food court with both the Store Manager and District Manager. They ask a lot of questions on previous experience and scenario related questions. They try to get a feel for what title you fit best under, such as; Talent, Operations, etc. After the interview I took the OAD Personality test and that was that.

Question 1
Tell me a time you dealt with a difficult customer, and how did you handle it?
I applied online. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Camp Hill, PA) in July 2017
Interview
Initially applied for the position through the AE careers section of their website. I received an email from HR stating that there's an interested and to call the number to the store that is listed in the email. Interviewed with the Store manager, which was very laid back. A small assessment of character is undertaken on an iPad, which gives you a color grade. If you pass then you meet with the DM. The meet with the DM took place during the same week. It was very laid back with "get to know you" questions. The DM enjoyed discussions about competing retailers such as J.Crew, Gap, etc. I received a phone call request to come in to fill out a background, Got job week later.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Maple Shade, NJ)
Interview
I applied online and a week later I got a call to an interview. It was a pretty easy interview and a little unconventional. The store manager was upbeat and friendly. She was very informative about the company and what they were look for. She asked me basic questions about the business from my current job (KPI's, volume, payroll). She did a lot of the talking after that about the store, district size, and other higher ups that I might see. She asked me 2 "what if" questions. After that I did a survey and was shown around the store. By the end of the week I received an offer.
