I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amesite in Apr 2022
Interview
Two month long interview process from first communication. Generally positive experience with multiple interview rounds until I made it to the code challenge - whole full-stack application (frontend, backend, db) - just to be completely ghosted after submitting the code. Massive waste of my time.
It was off putting and unorganized. With the ample opportunities for SDR positions in this market I suggest not wasting your time.
Pay is low compared to market, commission plan is weak. Met with 2 people. The first guy I spoke with seemed uninterested and seemed as if he was very distracted just reading off a list of questions and typing my answers word for word. Somehow made it to the next round and was hesitant to even attend.

Thank you for leaving a review of your interview experience. Our aim is for all to have a positive interview experience. We do take careful notes during interviews because we want to be sure to represent candidates’ strengths correctly so that we can advance people to subsequent rounds. We’re sorry if this felt mechanical to you – we’re really trying to make sure that the team knows each candidate’s strengths.
We want candidates to use the time to get their questions answered about the career opportunity, the direction of the company, and what it’s like to work at Amesite. We view the interview process as a two-way conversation. It’s our desire to learn about an applicant’s: educational, career, and community leadership experience(s) that add value to Amesite’s opportunity; and to identify training opportunities to best position a new hire for success! We wish you the best in your career endeavors.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amesite (Ann Arbor, MI) in June 2018
Interview
The interview process was thorough! I met and spoke with the CEO directly, interviewed/spoke with various team members, and went through different exercises so they could assess my skill set. I received an offer and started working within 2 weeks.
