I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Analog Devices (Limerick, Limerick) in Oct 2012
Interview
Applied to the ADI co-op scheme through my university as part of my course requiresa work placement. The company responded within 7 days of the application and set the interview for the same week.
The iterview was conducted by 1 HR representative and 2 engineers and lasted 45-60mins. It was a very relaxed and friendly sit down around a small table, nothing to stress over.
The HR questions were all stright forward and asked about my work history and for examples of team work etc.
The technical questions asked by the engineers were straight forward and centred on my project work to date, any complicated questions were explained well and if there was any misunderstanding they guided me through the solution.
I was asked to sketch a few circuits, op-amp configurations, LP/HP filters etc. basic electronics really.
Overall a very positive experience.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Analog Devices (Phoenix, AZ) in Feb 2026
Interview
It was full on technical. He asked about circuits only and how to test whether a circuit works or not. He also asked about capacitors and inductors and normal resistor values.
