I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Anderson Manufacturing (Hebron, KY) in Oct 2020
Interview
Shortest interview ever! Contacted via email after applying the day prior. Overall great response timing via email. Set up phone interview. Phone interview lasted 2 minutes max. I was asked which shift I was seeking. I answered first shift. Next question I was asked, "what hourly rate are you seeking?" I answered that "the job posting was $18-25 an hour." I was then asked "but what are you seeking?" I responded "I'm on second shift at my current job making close to $30 an hour. I'd be willing to take a pay cut for a first shift job." I was informed that it takes 30 years of experience to get the $25 an hour... Seeing as I have no CNC machine experience and don't want to wait 30 years to make less than what I currently already make the Interview over. It would have helped if that detail was put into the job posting. I wouldn't have applied knowing that.

Interview
Contacted by e-mail less than a week after applying. Responded back to setting up interview time and waited 1-2 days to hear back from HR. I was never told to bring copy of resume or anything else with me. I arrived 10 minutes early and over heard the receptionist saying to someone else that the person I was there to see was in a meeting. So I waited 20 minutes sitting in a hot waiting area to find out that I needed to fill out an application. Something that could've been provided upon arrival. I rushed to fill out what I could and waited again. Went back for interview 30 minutes past the actual interview time.
At the beginning of the actual interview, I was told by HR that I had exactly what they were looking for to fill the position. We discussed various pieces of information back and forth. At the end of the interview, I was told that I would hear back from them one way or the other about the position.
A week or so later, I followed up with HR because I still had not heard back from them. Well, I never received a response from the e-mail either. Even the department supervisor hasn't contacted me. So two weeks and nothing.
